Wow! Thank you so much! Making crocheted snowflakes has always been something my grandma did for everyone in the family. She just made me, probably my last set :(, at 93 years old. I decided to try it out, to carry on her legacy, and I did it! I can't believe I just whipped one up in minutes. Thank you! Thank you! Wait until she sees it! ♥

Just wanted to add for people, if you do this project with acrylic yarn, it should be blocked with steam, this makes it permanent for acrylic yarn :) steaming it gently by hovering your iron above it, pat it softly to make stuff go in place and let it lay for 24 hours ! Great tutorial, I used this and it's amazing! thank you so much for your effort and easy to understand terminology!

So, this is the first time I have ever crochet anything in my life! I had to keep scrolling back and also had to go to a tutorial about double crochet but I actually did it! I’m so pleased 😀 I made a few mistakes but if I asked anyone what they thought it was I would expect them to say ‘a snowflake ❄️!’ I’ve always wanted to crochet but been so scared with big projects like a throw or blanket so never got started. Finally managed your lovely snowflake design a few days before my 60th birthday!!! Thank you so much for the way you presented this tutorial, I’ll be looking at more once I’ve mastered the snowflake ❤

This really is one of the hardest crochet tutorials I’ve ever watched. Unfocused camera half the time, too far away to see the stitches. At least I know what the instructions mean but even those were confusing. I’ll leave the pattern in a separate comment. Hopefully that helps
@powyr4469Ай бұрын
It's my favorite snowflake it's really quite easy, when you finish the last picot in the set you kinda need to pull the bit you're finished with to get right into the first dc of the 4cluster to do the sl s across to the next space, it helps to make the "icy" clusters of picots stand out. Then when finished a little pulling to shape it, perfect! 🧶

I tried a bunch of different snowflake patterns, and this one is the BEST as well as being one of the easiest! The slip stitches in round 3 across the double crochets add structure and rigidity, so that even if you don't block or stiffen it, the snowflake keeps its shape beautifully! Very clever design!

This is a great and easy tutorial to follow. If I was just a bit faster, I wouldn't even have to pause the video to keep up, mostly. I'm so sharing this with my grandmother.

Thank you for these beautiful and easy-to-crochet little snowflakes, Chandi. I am making a bunch of them to give to neighbors, family, and friends. You have such delicate and lovely hands and a very graceful crocheting style. I enjoyed your video very much. Thanks again. xoxox
