This is so easy and free???? Have never seen this channel before but the cheapest I could find this pattern online was like $6 and this makes more sense than that. I love this guy mwah

For those using the pattern written in the description of the video, Row 5 of the Mantle should be ch1, inc, 6sc, inc. Inc being 2sc together in same stich. Hope this helps.

Your finished octopus looks fabulous but - oh how I wish I could follow your video. It's making me dizzy watching it upside down!
@michellenash68024 жыл бұрын
When you edit the video, could you change the orientation? If you have an iPad you can change it to follow, but you can't on a computer....which makes it difficult to follow what you're doing, especially for a newbie!!

I would absolutely love it if you could turn the video around so that I can follow along right-side up! :)

Laurissa Steadman yes, I’ll work on remaking the video this week.

You can use pantyhose to put the beads in so they don't work thru the yarn out. Also, could you do this in a light colored yarn? LOVE the octopus....but cannot see what you are doing to follow...and I turned my brightness setting all the way up! :/ I really want to make this!

How much yarn did you use? In yards preferably please.
@thebeardedhooker3174 жыл бұрын
Stef Gibson I used about 70 yards of a size 5 yarn.

You need a lighter background while using darker yarn colors

This video would be better if you use brighter yarn and turn the camera to face the work from your view.

Lacey McFadyen, thanks for the feedback. I realized after I made the video it was the wrong color choice.

You should never use black yarn…we can’t see the stitches

Waste of time you need to re-do the video in a lighter color and slower you lost me on the mantra and how to put it together I spent all afternoon for nothing

@@tinagregor7149 you’re definitely the Karen in this situation 😂 try learning written instructions

I tried following both his video and the written instructions, still couldn't figure it out, went to written instructions thinking that would help but actually it made it worse! Would be nice if this dude read his comments and added some clear instructions or asked where people were stuck and then offered help!

@@satouchan1428 learn the definition of a Karen, all she's saying is the video was too fadt and the written instructions made no sense, how are people supposed to grey better at presenting their videos if nobody is allowed to give criticism for fear if being called a Karen!!!
