these are lovely and the directions ar clear, but I would be very concerned about them stretching out.... anyone have experience with this?

Stretching occurs with certain stitches and certain ways of making rows (i.e. 5 single crochet stitches across with 75 back and forth rows). These handles have been used with purses I made over 15 years ago and still going strong.

For most of the items I used 100% cotton worsted weight yarn. The one blue item to show the steps in detail was a 3mm macrame cord, 100% cotton.
