Yes, it’s a very versatile braiding style. No gaps in the back if you go across. The front side braids also prevents the braids showing in the front.

Love your braid pattern and technique. One exception - I wouldn't advise the knots at the hairline. That is very sensitive hair that is easy to break and damage from tension. The look is full enough that its not needed. You're beautiful! Love the style on you!
