You explain very nicely. In some other tutorials, one does not understsnd where the hook has to be inserted, n they work too fast for us to understand. Your hand works slowly, so its easy for us to see what has to be done. Good video!👍

Dawna Morrell hi, I love how clear and concise yr video is but I am encountering a small confusion here. On yr final sole, there shld be 44 stitches. We take away 20 stitches for the tongue, just wondering the remaining stitches should be 24 but you mention 26 stitches not factoring in the 4 stitches that we done on the tongue. 20:13. I have made this cute pattern twice now. I would suggest stitching the tongue in a bit so that it is secure.

Ah, after I made the first one I understood. next time I will probably go back a couple more stitches (24, instead of 20?) and overlap the upper over the tongue 4 stitches instead of 2.
