Hooray 👏🏻👏🏻made my first booty yesterday… working on the second one today… thank you so much for a wonderful pattern they are adorable… however I have a question~ When I come to the end of the round and I slip stitch into the first half double crochet….after doing several rounds the seam moves so that it’s not in a straight line……did I do something wrong? That’s what happens when you work in the round but there’s a way of preventing that but I followed your pattern……

Ok did my 2nd bootie….came out much better than the first….however, I’m OCD and I still don’t like the way the seem bears to the right on the bottom of the bootie….I’ll have to figure out how to make that straight line when working in the round (but still keep to the pattern)…….tks Amanda for a lovely Baby Bootie Pattern!!!

And p.s.- you are a great teacher….love the way you used the stitch marker to indicate the first st of the round…..And you always “showed” where the first stitch was!!!! So many people don’t do that and that’s why the stitch count can be Off……..Before I found your video I tried someone else’s bootie and couldn’t follow bc my stitch count was Off…..maybe I’ll try it again using a marker….🤷🏻‍♀️👵🏻

You are amazing in your easy to follow step by step directions. However 🙂...I have attempted these probably 20 or more times. I count stitches, watch your steps one at a time, and I can only get to the 17 minute mark. When you do the last two stitches and slip stitch to close, I am always about 5 or more stitches from being close to the last two and a slip stitch. Any suggestions? I won't give up, but I am getting close to wanting to. Thank you for your video. I subscribed and liked and will keep trying.

I do not know if you aware, but your tutorial says chain 11 but the printed instructions day chain 10. I am loving the bootie pattern.

Yes please, I see so many but they are usually from foreign contributors and very difficult to follow, I don’t understand crochet patterns, but with your videos have gone on to create some lovely pieces, thank you both for all your help. I hope to be able to do some pansies in a thinner thread, not with wool.
