you are never too old to learn new tricks! I have been crocheting for almost 60 years, and that little hook twist is new to me! Thanks for explaining.

What an interesting way to utilize a third loop only half double crochet slip stitch. I love it and it reminds me of the two colour brioche in knitting. Maybe you could try carrying the yarn just like when doing colour working? At least when doing a smaller rib, I think.

Це фантастика! Я ніколи такого не робила. Це схоже на в'язання спицями. Дякую за такий детальний урок!

Could you do this in a circular design to eliminate the fringe? I'm looking for a cowl design in 2 colors and this would be so beautiful! Thank you for sharing this, and for making a video in English language!

This looks easy and beautiful. If you set it down how do you know which side to continue on or does it not make a difference?

I’ve never seen anyone crochet by wrapping the yarn around their finger. I’m so curious I must try it for myself now.

This yarn is 50% cotton and 50% acrylic yarn. I think that was from Alize. I don't have a laber 😔

Grazie mille. Bellissimo. Sono innamorata di questo pattern. Forse è possibile realizzare in due colori senza tagliare il filo? Grazie

Yes, this can be done with no cutting. This is called the “half-double crochet” stitch in the US. When using two colors, it’s not necessary to cut yarn for each row. When it’s time to change color, just DROP the green working yarn (don’t cut, just let it hang) and pick up yellow working yarn and crochet yellow row. Then when the yellow row is done, just DROP the yellow (don’t cut), and pick up the green one again (which was waiting), and keep alternating between colors by picking up the other (hanging) color behind it. Then you will have *no fringe* , only very short bits of color crossing the other color only on the edges, but a border will hide them very easily.

Can i make beanie with this pattern
@lauriedigioia9845 Жыл бұрын
Why not? Just make a the length you think you will need to make the height of the hat, then as many rows you’ll need for the width, see up starting row to last row, and gather at the top.
