Such beautiful crochet pieces! Oh I wish I had someone to crochet with! I’m teaching my young granddaughter, 10, she sticks w it and has made a basic scarf on her own and a blanket sized for her American Girl doll. So proud of her. When she starts school I won’t see her much. Hope to try many of these projects this winter when I’m stuck inside. I have started one scarf. I can’t wait to finish it. Gorgeous and useful gifts for birthdays and C’mas! Thank you for sharing your talent!

Hi Eva! It's wonderful that you are teaching your granddaughter to crochet! My mom taught me when I was around 7, and at 10 I was crocheting blankets and clothes for my dolls and teddy bears. And when I was 14, my mom and I started crocheting a bed cover made with motifs together. That really bonded us! And even now, my mom and I often crochet together. I feel like teaching me to crochet was one of the best gifts my mom has given me in life! Kudos to you for teaching your granddaughter to crochet and kudos to her for the patience she has for learning it! I'm sure when she's older, she will greatly appreciate this gift from you!

Very nice pattern. Your excellent teaching is very easy to follow. I would like to make this as a rectangular shawl, should I just double the stiches and begin from the very first.
@OlgaPoltava4 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry for getting back to you so late, somehow I don't get notifications for all the comments I get. You can start with a chain as long as you would like the width of your shawl to be, just make sure that the amount of chains is divisible by 10, plus 3. For example, the amount of starting chains can be 43, 53, 63, 73, 83, 93, etc. I hope this explanation helps!

I've never worked with this yarn, but I just googled it and it looks so pretty. This yarn is similar to Colors yarn by Loops & Threads that I used for my latest project (Mobius twist wrap). I think that lacy puffs stitch would be perfect for this yarn.

kathie. get a cup of tea. vjust watchthe whole video twice. then try to follow. start, stop, reverse video. you will make some mistakes but get the flow of the pattern. you xan write down her verbal instructions as she is very clear. it does take time to master the stitch. sometimes you just need to turn off the video, then go back a week later and you will get it. im making it into a necklace lol with rico metalisee from deramores. goid luck
