I like to listen to you just as much as your cute cat! She wants to be very close to you and does not leave you behind. It's so nice to see how gently you push her aside. Your relationship needs to be very close and loving. I don't crochet regularly, but these great slippers got me motivated again. Thanks for the nice instructions! Warm greetings from Germany.😘

I simply love this slippers! After a few rows though I figured out, that it works much better for me, if I only do a chain one at the end of the row instead ot two. I made them in one colour and gave them in the end (after sewing) a simple lace border in a different colour.

To determine how many stitches needed for your size (example size 10 US), crochet a 10 cm square swatch in your preferred yarn, then count the number of stitches in 2 cm ….this is where I need help to finish the equation…but you could place the swatch along the foot and count the number of stitches needed for your size in the particular yarn.

Thank you for showing how to make these slippers. They look very nice. I really like the colors you chose. I wonder if a sole for the bottom could be glued on? Maybe something simple like a thin, flip flop sandal with the straps cut off, could be glued on. 🤔 I might try that.
@SirinsCrochet2 жыл бұрын
You can try it 💖Please share the results with me 😘
@SOULRELIEF222 жыл бұрын
You can also crochet soles and sew them on. I found MANY sole patterns on KZbin. Won't last as long as rubber though... One I made crocheted with plastic from garbage bags (or shopping bag plarn) lasted LONG! 💞🎄💞 MERRIEST CHRISTMAS!
@everlastinghope2 жыл бұрын
@@SOULRELIEF22 thank you ! That's a great idea. I couldn't find any flip flop sandals where I live. I also thought about using a hot glue gun to make soles, though I honestly don't know if it would work. I haven't made the slippers yet because I want to finish a blanket I'm working on first. I did buy some yarn to make them. I see so many projects I want to try, but not enough time. I like your user name by the way! 😁

@@everlastinghope You sound FULL of LIFE! JESUS IS LIFE! "JESUS LOVES HIS PEOPLE!" Is the cable program the LORD had me produce for Him for 14 years "live" in Berkeley! (It's still on local cable reruns, Praise the LORD!) The TV voice JESUS gave me was VERY MUCH toned down from the street preaching evangelist! In San Francisco's TENDERLOIN I was yelled at..."Shaddup! Go over there and preach by the EMPORIUM! LEAVE us ALONE!" They threw MANY bottles at me, and slapped my Bible from my grasp till the cover was ruined! GOD gave me preaching outfits with Bible covers to match, and THAT ended the Bible attacks! (One man said, "Watch! Everything she wears matches her BIBLE!") By the way, FATHER GOD touched me and SAVED me from atheism in the name of JESUS, on CHRISTMAS EVE in 1972! (John 16:24!) I woke up CHRISTMAS MORNING, BORN AGAIN! HALLELUJAH! 🎄💞🎄 If the LORD tarries, 2022 will be my 50th YEAR LOVING JESUS! 💖💖💖 May THIS be your BEST and HAPPIEST CHRISTMAS EVER! And have a BLESSED NEW YEAR! 🎄💞🙏🙌🎉
