Made this on a road trip. Absolutely love it. Great pattern. Also love that this pattern can take a few mistakes well. Some patterns hard cause they have to be pristine, but enjoy that I made. A few mistakes my first time learning this and it was super forgiving. Love the way it looks so happy

This video was super helpful! To be able to follow it, you should know how to do a single chain, double crochet and slip stitch! It took me about 4 hours but I’m rather beginner-level, so it may take some people less time! I definitely recommend this video for a simple and cute tote bag! 🧶

Ahh crap. I did the random 3 crochets on the side all the way up and distorted the shape. I knew something was up but kept going, thats my fault. Now im pulling it all out to redo it. I would say next time to clarify tht when we go around and around to not do the random 3 crochets on the sides.

Did you DC in the back loop around the edges of the base of the bag in the beginning? On the first side when you DC through the chain it looks like its through the back loop, so it seems like you would do back loop on the other side as well
