One of my favorite tips that I learned early on is using stacked single crochet instead of chains to start a row. Especially for granny squares. Also, if you start in the middle of a corner for every row of a granny square, you won't have that seam going up. There are lots of tutorials showing how to do those.
@Amy_The_unbearded Жыл бұрын
I'm going to have to look into this stacked single crochet you speak of! I'm only familiar with starting with chains!

@Amy_The Unbearded_Roommate it's great. When I first learned to crochet, I never liked the look of the chains in place of a stitch so I was really happy when I learned it.

I had a really nice crochet/ knitting community experience yesterday, I was in a musical and we were getting ready for a show, and me and some friends all sat in a circle and knit and crocheted, or if they didn't bring anything, admired each other's projects, it was so fun and sweet, and calmed all of our nerves ❤️❤️
