@pieblush2806 I had the same problem. For this persons specific tutorial, I think you have to have a certain yarn and tension on the hook. I looked into how to stop the twirling on other videos and they all say to make sure your tension isn’t too tight. None of that really worked for me so I ended up just doing single crochets instead of this elaborate pattern. The top I made still came out pretty cute. Because you work with sc, it ends up twirling too, but the more you work on it, it lessens a bit. The only other advice I can give is to maybe complete the work bit by bit and then press something heavy on the item you’re making? I heard that helps too… sorry if this wasn’t the advice you were looking for or even need now. I just know I felt like I was going crazy with the twirling. Good luck ❤️

I’m so sad I’ve spent hours on this and I’m not even half way I used 3 ply yarn because yours said extra fine yarn, I searched it up and it said that was 3 ply. I’d love to try again once I get some new yarn. Hopefully it’s not too holey to wear as a top I’ll have to see

I’ve made this and it’s turned out amazing! The only issue is my wools stretchy so it’s a bit big, is there a way I could make it smaller?

Thanks Darling first you should try a small piece (Swatch) to see the texture if you like it For smaller use a smaller size measurements or use a smaller yarn & hook ♥️ Try to put the tie in the inside stitch try it and you can show me it on the Instagram

Please help. I'm using acrylic yarn. I started with a foundation loop row of 36 inches but by the 3rd row the length had grown to 43 inches. I made sure that I'm not adding stitches and my tension is consistent. I've redone it 3 times now and the same thing happens every time. It's not curling and the ends are even. I can't figure out why the length keeps getting longer with every row. I even started with a foundation of 24 inches and it quickly grew to 32 inches. What am I doing wrong?
