What a sweet and thoughtful thing to do! My husbands Grandmother taught me to crochet way back in the 80's and the granny square was the first thing I learned, so they have a very special place in my heart!

Thank you so much for this post. My grandmother taught me how to crochet and granny squares were so easy. I taught my sister to crochet and the granny square was where we started. Hope to teach my granddaughter she’s five and is dying to learn!!! Take care and stay safe, see you next time 🥰

The first thing I did was a "forever chain"!!!!! LOL The next thing I did was a granny square. I literally made dozens upon dozens of them. I made a baby blanket out of all those multi- colored grannies. Then I made a bunch of grannies with a black outside edge. That one I kept for my firstborn son. I do adore granny squares!

Does the furls crochet hook work for people that hold their hook like a pencil?
@EliseRoseCrochet Жыл бұрын
Im not sure, you may be able to Google that and find out. My next favorite hooks are the Clover Amour hooks. 🧶🧶🧶

Elise is $125.00 what the cost of the furl odyssey should be,? If so that Christmas gift from your family was pretty awesome!
@EliseRoseCrochet Жыл бұрын
No!!! They have discontinued Furls Odyssey crochet hooks and the prices have gone through the roof! They were originally $36, which is still expensive for a crochet hook! 🧶🧶🧶
@beverlytrulson9373 Жыл бұрын
@@EliseRoseCrochet Now what?! Is there something close that will work? Or you should tell them they can't discontinue it!!! Because you said so !!!
