If you have 1 stch left on your second row probably because you’re doing 1sc and 2hdc in the same chain. On 12:02 it’s actually 1 sc and in the next stich 2hdc ❤️ I was really confused until I decided to read the written pattern 😅 Thank you for the tutorial ❤️❤️❤️

@@Godsfavoritefairyjust repeat the pattern with the asterisk to however many times you need. The increases give the rounding so you’ll need to make sure those line up on the highest points of the heart tips.

@@jillianezra7001 but when she says like do 12 H DC i don’t have enough for 12 sometimes our numbers don’t line up bc then i don’t have room for the 4 stitches alternating for the rounded corners.. hope that makes sense. should i just start over??

@@Godsfavoritefairy if I were you I would HDC the straights till I get to the apex of the heart corners and I would then increase as directed and stop counting the stitches since you’re making it bigger anyway.

This is my second ever crochet project and this vid made it very easy to learn!! i was a bit scared having to switch to the written pattern but i got the hang of it :3 I had to restart my project because the beginning of the video was a bit confusing and i ended up messing up the first part, but otherwise this was a great tutorial!!

At 12:26 you said I should have only one stitch left, but I had two. I'm not sure where I went wrong because I went over the pattern again and I didn't miss a stitch and I am 100% sure it wasn't a phantom stitch.

AMAZING, love this so much its so cute, posted this on your blog but going to put it here too If you are struggling with the repeating sections the way that helped me is i for ex. took "*1 hdc, 1 hdc, 2 hdc* x 4" as 16 total stiches and then knew every 3,4th stich was in the same one(i also used stich markers at the beginning of the patter JIC i lost count). Hopefully that makes sense, also i did mess up my stich counts a few times so anyone trying this make sure to count your stiches every single row the pattern is correct just make sure you start with the correct stich counts posted on her blog.

You could also use stitch markers for the very first stitch/dc and if you don't have a stitch marker you can use a little piece of yarn and and let it lay under the stitch

Love love *love* this pattern!! I didnt have enough white (what I was using for the body) so I ended up using leftover pink chenille yarn for the straps 😅 you're my go-to channel when i just need a relaxing, easy to follow pattern that will always turn out super cute and aesthetic, and this was so perfect!!

@@Godsfavoritefairy you can but make sure you have really stuff yarn- I just did hdc's around but the top was floppy and I had to fix it with a zipper so it didn't droop. Sorry I wish I had better advice :( good luck though!

It’s very cute but it would’ve been easier to follow if you put the whole 12 row process instead of cutting it all off; if people didn’t need to see all the process then they could skip, but in my case I had to redo my heart 3 times to get it right.

Thank you! The 12 rounds are worth around 2-3 hours of footage, due to storage and time constraints I can’t post videos that long. I also had other clips to include in the video and since the rest of the pattern (that’s on my blog) is the exact same just with more number of stitches, I cut the video because it was repetitive. The stitch counts are also included in the pattern and I explained exactly how to follow it in the video!

You know the part in round 6 that is towards the middle of the heart “2 sc, 1sc x2, sc 2 together, 1sc x2, 2sc” is it normal for it to be more on the left side of the heart and not in the middle? I’ve recounted my stiches and their all right but I’m not in the middle of my heart

@@Godsfavoritefairy You can't repeat the same steps cause the heart has to get bigger. I haven't made this bag yet, so unfortunately I can't help you :/ Maybe look up if there's a written tutorial for a heart bag if you can read patterns

Hii I'm so glad to hear that you like my content and thank youu you're so sweet! I recommend getting a 4.5 mm crochet hook (I use it for nearly all of my projects, it's the perfect size for almost everything in my experience), for yarn I use 100% acrylic yarn that's size appropriate for a 4-5 mm hook (you can check this on the yarn packaging, there's a hook with the recommended size on it), hope that helps
