work in multiples of 7+2 to make it as long as you want the length.
row 1: dc in 3rd ch from hook & across, turn.
row 2: dc in each dc across, turn.
row 3: ch3, 1dc in next 2dc, 2hdc in next dc, make heart in 2hdc (see video),ch1, 1dc in next 6dc, heart in next across ending with 1dc in next 3dc. turn.
row 4: ch3, dc in each st asross including ch1 spaces, turn
row 5: dc in each dc across, turn.
row 6: repeat row 5.
row 7: ch3, 1dc in next 5dc, 2hdc in next dc, make heart in 2hdc(see video), ch1, 1dc in next 6dc across, ending with 1dc in next 7dc, turn.
row 8: ch3, dc in each st asross including ch1 spaces, turn.
row 9: dc in each dc across, turn.
row 10: repeat row 9.
row 11: repeat from row 3 onwards to increase the length as long as you want.
Abbreviations:
dc - double crochet
hdc - half double crochet
tr - treble crochet
ch - chain
sl st - slip stitch

Adorable pattern! I wish it were focussed, as it's impossible to see where you are stitching. The directions do help, but they don't tell everything. I'll keep trying despite that because it's a lovely pattern.

At 7:05 you say to make 2 rows of dc before beginning next heart row. At the end, however, you say to make 3 rows of dc before going back to row 3. Which is correct?

Its 3 rows of dc before beginning next heart row. I mentioned to make 2 more rows of dc a bit earlier in the video, now I corrected the instructions, sorry for that. :)

I have given annotations in my video. Make sure you watching it on laptop as one can't see annotations on tablets, mobile devices etc Why they curled up? Are you using thin yarn with big crochet hook? :)

That or you can just work next row of sc & attach the top parts of the heart to sc row (by working in back loops only when attaching hearts) or stitch the sides of heart together with tapestry needle.

Your hook size is bigger, if you switch to 4mm hook then it won't curl up :)

Thank you. I am left handed and do pretty good following this but the only part was having trouble..., is the first triple crochet done between the first two HDC?

After making 2hdc, you make first half of the heart by working given stitches around left hdc & then the given stitches around right hdc. So it will be like you are working first half of the heart in one hdc & the second in another. :)
