Omgosh absolutely yes these are so fun and easy to make!!! For teachers you could also make heart bookmarks. I saw an old craft book where someone made like four crochet hearts, and then sew them altogether in a row to make a bookmark.!!!

Yay! I just made a heart ❤my mum had purchased me from dollar tree the little earring kit and now I’m excited to make heart earrings. Been crocheting only about almost three years now and am getting better with the magic loop. Has taken me some time after learning to crochet in 2021 by some nice patient ladies at the library when I joined their crochet group and I started off making a chain & then was able to make scarfs & things most beginners make. Now at almost three years I’m starting to learn patterns better and at least understand the basics I feel like. I’m glad I know what a single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet & treble crochet is & slip stitch is. So happy and excited to continue on with this hobby, learn and not get discouraged but to keep going because that’s how you improve! ❤ practice, practice, practice lol Thank you! 🤗

awe thats so cool! magic loops can be tricky for sure! take your time and dont get discouraged i crocheted for 20 years before i tried a magic loop lol. just make what makes you happy :)

Hi Holly, just a suggestion for when you're attaching the jump rings. Rather than moving the ends of the ring away from each other with the pliers, it's often recommended to swivel them apart sideways (grip each end and move one towards you and the other away). I know it won't matter in a project that's so lightweight, but in jewellery making, I believe this is so the metal of the ring isn't stressed away from the way jump rings are made (a length of wire wrapped around a dowel then each loop is snipped, so each jump ring is part of a coil where the ends will be slightly off sideways to each other). Also, if you want a bit more security, you should be able to solder the join (on "silver" jump rings) so there isn't a gap that might snag or come loose Love all of your content, and I'm sending the links to this video and the rhyme short to an acquaintance who's recently learned crochet to make amigurumi and is struggling with (wait for it) magic circles
