haha! I was literally just starting a new skein when you asked if we pull from the centre or outside! Centre pull!!!!! it won't jump around and it is so much easier to get the flow going. If I ever get yarn barf, I just view it as a checkpoint I need to reach before I put the project down 😂😂

You are my spirit animal! I was thinking of how to maximize my crojo while on an upcoming car trip. You sold me on a yarn winder ( not for in the car lol) and now I may have to upgrade my boppy for an inflatable pillow. Oh! And that neck light!! I love that you can adjust the brightness level! I highly recommend hard ginger candies and york peppermint patties for your snack tray, they help (just a little) with the car sickness...that and some dramamine are my go-to's.

My husband told me I had to get plastic hooks for the car instead of metal because I like inline hooks and he's afraid the the slight point could seriously hurt me in an accident. So sweet and I'm excited to get new hooks lol might make him splurge on the prym.

For the bag that holds yarn (the small one) i would recommend adding a zipper between the two holes so that you can be able to remove your project from the bag without needing to cut the yarn 2:43

I don't usually get carsick thank goodness, but I do get motion sickness. Weird right lol. Also I wear glasses already, so those carsick glasses wouldn't help me anyway 😕. That's a cool setup 😁. i tried those and they did not work for me, but I am personally somebody that gets motion sick reaaaally easily, like getting sick anywhere between 5 to 30 mins in the car depending on how straight the road is or isnt, so it might still work for somebody else who has a milder sickness

@lovethebirb8706 thats fair, I haven't tried either methods so I can't say they work at all but I figure almost anything is worth a shot if you travel a lot and are faced with motion sickness. I also struggle and the only thing that helps are frequent-ish breaks and sleeping if that's possible 😅

hi, love your video. what I do not understand however, is how you store your crochet project when the yarn is in either of the bags? Do you just cut it off every time you stop to work and put it away into another bag? This seems to be one, albeit small, problem with the yarn bags that would drive me crazy. I think the bags should offer some kind of storage solution too, after all they are bags.

It depends. When my great grandmother died she had a whole lot of yarn so if I’m using her old yarn I pull from the middle. But with new yarn I got myself pulling from the middle always gets knotted and messes me up.

Sickness is because you are fixed om the project with your eyes. The glasses are more when you already look out to a bit of movement but not enough feedback get from it the visual and need extra movement. Rise the project a bit more so you have the road a bit in your view than try again ❤ with and without glasses.
