I love this stitch. Am just finishing up my "kinda advanced beginner" sampler afghan using this pattern. I was nervous, but it has worked out beautifully. Used Stylecraft Special DK in sherbet and fondant, so a blue and pink, and it is stunning. Thanks so much. When I'm done with this I plan to make a purse pattern of yours. You really do have the best site!

Hi Donna , Thank you for this video it’s exactly what I’ve been looking . I’m making a baby blanket . I’ve got 99+3 . For the last 3 stitches , do I go into the chain 3 , if I do then I’ll have sc into 4 instead of 3 . Would it make a great difference to do 4 eor stitches

If I were to use a smaller yarn / thread, and a larger hook, do you think these would make nice curtains?

Anything that you want to be solid, as opposed to open and lacy. Hats, scarves, sweaters, blankets, etc.

This is such a lovely pattern. I'm having problems with the triple stitches, though. I get these large, loose gaps between where the triple stitches come together and form a "V" and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've watched the video over and over, but I can't see what I'm doing differently. When I form the stitch it just stretches out so much. The stitch itself looks fine but, as I said, it gaps out between where the top loops connect, making the top loops, where you have the hook, gap about a 1/4 inch. It's hard to explain. Are there any tips to correct this issue?

Mine is doing the exact same - did you figure out why?!
@user-ck8rh4ee9o
@user-ck8rh4ee9o 4 жыл бұрын
@@clairec9745 No one ever replied or helped me. I did finally figure out that if you use the pointer finger of your right hand to pin or hold down the loops on the hook you can reduce the gap, but it was so awkward for me and it only made the gap smaller but it was still there. I gave up on the pattern. If you watch the video closely she's doing this but I could not master it. I wonder if it would be easier to hold down the loops if you switch to the other way of holding the hook where the hook is under your palm? I hold my hook like a pencil. Sorry I couldn't help more. I wish the poster would reply with some assistance.
