Looking forward to trying this one! I LOVE to do patterns with the cable stitches. Gives the item a unique Celtic look. I have tried several different patterns for the pocket shawl and really did not like they way they came out. I have several skeins of Mandala and Ferris Wheel yarn by Lion Brand. Going to use these and see how it comes out. Thanks for sharing this! You are a gem!!☺☺💖💖💖

Is there a way you can repeat your sooo smooth technique...a few times? Because my hook just doesn't want to cooperate...once I get it I will never use the chain 3 beginning again. Thank you. Any one else having trouble with the beginning dbl crochet? I really want to perfect it...

Hello Olga your work is absolutely beautiful.i have made some staff already but I have a question for you can I make this shawl with Bernat premium 4 and💯 acrylic ?? Or the yarn will be to light?? please help thank you
@OlgaPoltava3 жыл бұрын
Hi! It should work because it's the same weight category and 100% acrylic just like the yarn that I used (Impeccable). However, I don't have Bernat premium in my stash, so I can't tell how soft it is in comparison to Impeccable yarn. If it's significantly softer, the finished shawl will drape differently. I've seen many pocket shawls with that soft drape look, and they look very pretty too. I hope this helps! Blessing

I'm almost finished and this is the first time I used a pattern like this. I really like it and I'm making this for my mother 😊, but you don't show how to sew in the pockets
@OlgaPoltava4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I should've included that in the tutorial, I didn't do any fancy stitch, but still I should've showed it.
@a.a.74643 жыл бұрын
I am not understanding are you doing just a sample.??
@OlgaPoltava3 жыл бұрын
49 chains for the shawl, 33 chains for the pocket. Keep in mind that I am working with heavy yarn; also I make a trim around the shawl, which makes it wider too. So the width of my finished shawl was 16.5 inches.
@silvialanus21034 жыл бұрын
Gorgeous! The link for the yarn it’s not the same you’re using ,which is Endless , and the one in Amazon is Impeccable so is there any difference in weight? Thanks
@OlgaPoltava4 жыл бұрын
Hi Silvia, it's the same yarn, but it comes in three different skein sizes. There is Impeccable, which is 285 yards per skein. There is Impeccable Big, which is 858 yards per skein. And there is also Endless Impeccable, which is 1790 yards per skein.
@OlgaPoltava4 жыл бұрын
I couldn't find a link for Endless Impeccable in the same color, so I gave the link to smaller size skeins. But like I said, it's exactly the same yarn. I hope this helps!
