I am using two strands of 'I love this cotton" yarn from Hobby Lobby and it is working up so well! I have used many of the colors for Christmas gifts. So far the red is my favorite. Thank you so much for this pattern, it is classy and pretty at the same time. God bless you and your family.

Just loved this design for creating my potholder. I needed a design that was a step up from a plain SC or DC. I received a free potholder and I placed it under my coffee maker. One morning, my son forgot to place the cup under for the drip. That potholder saved him from cleaning up a mess. 100% cotton washes up beautifully...so here I am making another; maybe two more potholders! Thank you! 🤗

I put a wooden ring for mine. I did 5 rows (and stitches on the sides)for my border. When I reached the top border, I decreased by one stitch each row of the top border in the corner, slip stitch the first stitch after turning. Then slip stitch through the curve that created to clean up the edge, turn the work, and single crochet the wood ring in place, weave in the ends, done.
