Weight 5 yarn sounds better to me, the bag will shrink a little bit, but the most important thing is to match the hook so it won’t have too many gaps

I cant crochet blanket yarn with a 4.5 hook can i use weight 4 yarn with your pattern

I don’t recommend using worsted yarn with 4.5mm hook for this pattern because it won’t create tight enough panels - you can size up the hook up to a 6mm one paired with blanket yarn 🫶🏻
