This is my first time watching any Tunisian crocheting, people in the past have said how easy it is and know I can crochet a bit I can see some resemblance to both the crochet and many many moons ago my granny showing us knitting. Thank you for the clear instructions. Xxx

Jennifer thank you for introducing this hook and technique. I almost passed over it thinking Tunisian was hard but it actually looks fail-proof since the steps involved in each pass is so beginner friendly. Thank you for always keeping the beginners in mind and offering projects that help us build confidence! Now off to purchase yet one more hook and skein of yarn that I don’t have😉 Thx so much!!

Excellent tutorial! I've been wanting to learn this type of crochet and just happen to have the exact materials laying around, so I've started this exact scarf!! Excited & going very well. Not overwhelmed since the project is narrow and I'm making progress quickly. Thanks so much for this instruction!!

This is the first stitch I learned 40 some years ago. I was told that it was called the Afghan stitch. Thank you.

You're such a great teacher! Can you put Tunisian in the title, so it'll come up when folks search? Thanks for a great video Jennifer!

Hi Jennifer. Nice to see you doing Tunisian! Very pretty scarf. I prefer an in-line hook over the tapered metal hook. Easier to get into stitches. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for showing us how to do this stitch. I have the correct hook for this but thought it would be way more difficult so never even attempted it. I will definitely try it now! Love your videos. 😁

This is GREAT ! I've been wanting to learn this stitch and you make learning so easy. Thanks you. Question - I suppose there is no way to keep the edges from curling, is there? Would it help to block it?

I absolutely love this scarf. When I saw it was Tunisian crochet, I almost didn't watch. I am so glad I did watch! I have a Tunisian hook I purchased a few years ago when I was first starting out, learning to crochet. I just took it out of the package today to try to make this. It was so much fun! I would like to get the type of hook that was used in the video, the one with the cable. Does anyone know what brand it is or can recommend one to buy? Thank you in advance!

I tend to work tightly, to the point that when I start a foundation chain I'd have trouble going back into it on the next row. I've started working my first row with a hook that's a size bigger (or half size) and then start the next row with the size hook I plan to use for the project. I could probably loosen my tension and I don't do this every time, but its helped me out and maybe it'll help someone else out :)

You should let it be known that it's Tunisian crochet. I don't have a Tunisian hook so I won't be doing this project. Very nice though.
