What happens if you run out of beads while working on your project? Do you cut the yarn and add more beads or what?

Great video. I'm wondering how to crochet beads into a crocheted Christmas tree. The pattern starts at the top of tree and stitches are increased as you go down to the bottom. It is placed on a Styrofoam cone with glue.

Great tutorial! Question. When doing single crochet, if you want the beads/crystals on the right side, do you need to do a single row of plain sc first off foundation chain and begin adding beads to row 2?

Hi Suzette, Not sure what you are asking, but if you are asking about how to work the row after the beaded row, simply work your new row on top of previous row as normal. Let me know if that answers the question or not. thanks :)

After you finished with your first row of beads, there were only two rows...one of straight stitch, and one with beads. How did you get that third row that put the beads in the center? That whole part is skipped. Since I'm new to crocheting, I don't understand how to do that part. Thanks!

How do you make this without gaps between each bead ? I saw a really cute one with no gaps between the beads. I wanna make one like that.

Is it only possible to end up with beads at back using single crochets? I can't imagine a project that needs them at the back, surely they'd need to be at the front

If you make a double sided item like a scarf you would.

Jan Burrell You work the beads when you're working the wrong side of the garment, so that the back is actually the front. And then when you're on the right side, you do one simple row, with no beads.
@DZZLL8 жыл бұрын
You can beads sitting on the 'wrong side' by yarning over and sliding your bead up first at the start of the double crochet stitch rather than on last step.

Not recommended to use beads on any fabric that will eventually require washing, since the fabric can be ruined & lose the beads. Beads are best for necklace stringing or for items that are rarely washed by hand not machine.
