I have always hated crocheting with furry yarn but have some that I love and hope to use one day. This video has already helped me immensely so I might take out the yarn and give it a go. Thank you!

Thank you for this video. I should have known this years ago when I tried to crochet a shawl. When I wanted to unravel I stuck helplessly and then I gave up. I will see if the yarn is still around then I try it together with a regular yarn. Well, this yarn I used was black, I could not see the stitches clearly even with the brightest light. But I will give it a chance with your suggestions.

I am so happy to find you on Pinterest and now KZbin. I bought some furry yarn years ago, never used it, thought about giving it away recently. Now I'm glad that I didn't after seeing your video. Have you ever worked with eyelash yarn? Yes, I bought a skein of it also at the same time I bought the furry yarn. It was Mardi Gras.

I'm so happy to hear this is helpful 🥰 Yup, I mostly use eyelash yarn because it's easiest to get where I am. But I've also tried all the types successfully with the methods in this video 👌

Thanks a lot for this! Definitely helping with the idea of working with fur yarn! My only question being, using such big crochets and thus having such big stitch holes, isn't there a risk of the filling overflowing? Thank you very much!
@Projectarian10 ай бұрын
You're welcome, I'm glad it helped! The fur fibres fill the gaps between the holes. I've made several furry amigurumis and none of them have visible holes or any risk of leaking stuffing 😉👍

@@Projectarian Thank you very much for your answer, loving your videos, you made me discover felting and fur making with your tiger transformation video, thanks a bunch for that, too :D Now I can choose which methods to go for when it comes to fur ^^

SO just watched this and my question is what do you do about stuffing the object, do you use a pillow case or something like that so it doesn't fall out or is it just all stuffing inside?
@Projectarian Жыл бұрын
Just normal stuffing. The gaps between the stitches aren't big enough for the stuffing to come out. They stretch open when you poke your finger through to count, but then shrink closed again.

@@Projectarian thanks for you help but it's very difficult for me because I'm from Germany so I have to translate it in my head 😂
@Projectarian Жыл бұрын
@Marie Seikrit that would certainly be more challenging! My patterns are only available in English and I have a 24h dedicated support team for anyone who needs help. If you are dead set on making this project then it may require working very slowly through it and using the support team lots. Maybe in the future I can turn the pattern into a video, it would be a good vid but I'm not sure when I'd be able to 💖💖💖
