I was wondering if there is a certain yarn that should be used for beanies made for locs?

Nope, it’s your choice. I like medium 4, which is what I used in the video. The wearer should just wear a satin bonnet underneath the beanie to protect the locs from lint.

I recommend if you are a true beginner do lighter thread colors it’s hard too keep up and count when u use darker thread but so far I’m hanging in

Adjust the initial circle size. Use fewer increase rounds.
