When with click "make clipping mask" after creating a custom shape, it crops it perfectly how described, but i still have the white canvas n the background. How to make the background nothing? (like at the end of the video when its only your face and just the negative grey behind it wiht no canvas space

Hi. What Illustrator Workspace do we need to use to see "Quick Actions" that includes "Crop Image". OR which dropdown link from the top Window link can I click on to bring up the "Crop" feature. Thanks!

The quick actions are available in the Properties panel so make sure you have that opened up. The Essentials workspace has it as default on the right hand side

@@PixelAndBracketIllustrator I also found out that I had to hit my “f” letter key to show all of my - including the top toolbars. Somehow I turned off the toolbars. I guess “f” stands for Full Screen - which hides the toolbars….. that’s why I could not find the Apply button!

I followed step by step and when I press make clipping mask I get "Can't make clipping mask. Selection must be more than one object"
