Great tutorial - probably the best I've seen yet in terms of speed, clarity and easy to follow instructions! When you discuss MESH warping, (around 11:52 onwards) IMPORTANT: If you just click onto a node and drag it won't warp. You have to click and release one node, then click on it a second time and it will warp. This drove me crazy (using 2019 Illustrator CC) until I figured it out. Click on it first, release, then re-click on the node. The first click seems to put the nodes into edit mode. Only need to do it on one node, then the rest are ready until you click away from main object.

I made a text with a shape, yes I made a "custom font" but made every single letter with shape. Long story short, I want to bend it as you did on the first way to bend a text (with a circle), but I don't know how to do it. It looks way better rather than using the warp option, IMO. Hope you understand what I mean, so please enlighten me Thank youuu

to be honest, i'm not sure. i played around with a couple of ideas but nothing really worked to keep separate shapes from warping. other than placing a circle as a guide and manually rotating around it i don't know of any other way for custom shapes

Another excellent video. Thank you!! Centering Text using those boxes was like a real eye-opener. Please could you do an in-depth one on "expand" and "expand appearance". What it does and when to use it. I'm struggling to get my stroke to adjust when I scale them down. I know this has something to do with it. Thank you in advance!
