Just to clarify with gozen, if they dont control any monsters they will still be able to summon both servant and master. But after the effect resolves they send one of the monsters to the GY (extra in this case). So they can just keep master and still be able to summon darks.

Something of note: solemn strike may be great versus pendulum summons but in the case of endymion, they're summing the monster via a pendulum scale effect, making it unable to be hit by strike.

Unwavering Bond is one hell of a nice tech for sure. Endymion can't chain to it because it's a counter trap, it negates whether the scale effect or the Pendulum Monster's effect. And best of all, rather than destroying it, it gets banished which is really really solid.

Hi Tom, nice video ! I'm going share some techs that i know and you did not mentioned. Hope it helps you and everyone else ;) -Summon Tiamaton on the pendulum scale zone - Uses Super poly to summon Quintet Magician (this is nice on the mirror match! Or you can normal veiler then use the super poly... kinda strange but super funny hahaaha) - Use Gate blocker going 1st on the mirror match ( or if you run sariyuja in your extra to facilitate his summon without burning your normal)

Summon limit doesn’t work really well because for example the servant of endymion pendulum effect counts only as one summon even if you summon two monsters. Talking about that, what happens when « there can only be one » is on the field and my opponent wants to activate servant of endymion effect ? Can he do it since it’s counted as one summon ? Does he then remove one spellcaster after summoning them, allowing them to still summon Endymion MMM ?

First off, ALL of Tiamaton's effects can be negated by Jackal King. Second, if your opponent couldn't play through a blocked zone...Then they have a lot to learn. Third a lot of the cards recommended in this video are easy to stop. Maybe I'm old school, but I plan for worst case scenarios when I build a deck. How do I win, when my deck isn't working the way I intended it to. So far, I haven't met a Skystriker, Altergeist or Salmangreat player I couldn't beat. I'm not sure what the presenter is talking about, bc from my experience...Skystrikers are an easy win for the Sorcerer Supreme.

I think his effect shuts off pendulum monsters specifically. When they're in the pendulum zones, they're considered spells and unaffected.

@@SkillDrained one of the Dracoverlord cars definitly stops scale effects, Vector does it I think. The other negates effects of pendulums your opponent controls on the field. Both are reasonable options if you're also running a pendulum deck but they would be better in a deck like Magician I think.

The Zefra monsters can do it without the use of Endymion as it. They just use the one that makes a Zefra into a tuner and synchro with it, then just use something like Providence to keep all their stuff safe while your side gets nuked. lol

The card literally wins the mirror lol. Also, lector is not that good (its Wavering Eyes fodder if you place it in scale); certainly not better than Gate Blocker.

Also I got lava/sphere moded to sleep using is. I think id rather just solemn brigade and hurt every deck not just the mirror. Vanitys fiend is also better in testing at least for me. Gate blocker isn't bad though.

How to crush an endymion deck simple either A. Play anti-spell fragrance B. Play imperial order C. Make a solid board if you are 1st turn D. Play handtraps wisely E. Don't play decks that uses more spells against them going 2nd F. Play naturia beast with mask of restrict as a support for him

Sides traps to gain spellcounters other ways (bestiamorph, pitch-black power stone etc.) I play Mythical Beast Endymion so i can live with one scale lol Day-Breaker pops and gains counters on the special summon of Spellcasters to zones it points to (floodgates/problematic monsters) or if I have Garuda and three spellcounters I can bounce your natbeast on your summon. Or arcanite and the trap cards lol I’m just saying a lot can counter all of those options.
