In plain English? It seems like you might be saying (I'm guessing here) that current, male loneliness is the result of denying young men access to their own emotional expression as well as not acknowledging boys who are not athletic, "strong", "manly", "alpha-types". Especially before puberty, boys are just little humans feeling all the feelings that little female humans have. Losing that distinction pushes men down a road of fitting some profile that is not at all who they are. My 2 cents...🤷🏾♀️

Maybe we should be hearing what the boys are saying what they perceive their problems are vs someone telling them what their problems are.

I believe Stephanie rule genuinely wanted to address the subject. Unfortunately, she had the wrong participants. Gov. Moore and Mr. Strautmanis tried to make this a race issue when black and white boys are both affected. And this was when Gov. Moore wasn't pandering to women. Mr. Reeves was only slightly better. He seem to want to blame men for the problem. In the end, all three men were afraid to offend women. This prevented them from addressing the issue honestly. DR. T Hassan Johnson would have been a more appropriate guest for this discussion.
@UZIMADanceFitness5 ай бұрын
I keep seeing comments similar to this. I agree this panel did not do well addressing the real issue. But I don't see how offending women would have been necessary to remedy that. Boys need help; they are struggling in ways that are wholly unique. The roots of the issues must be addressed to ensure boys and men aren't disadvantaged so that we can empower women. All that is true and can be addressed without being offensive to anyone.
@nigel50095 ай бұрын
@@UZIMADanceFitness I never said that offending women would remedy the problem. When men advocate for men and boys, there are women who are uncomfortable with this. They feel that for some reason something will be taken away from them by supporting men and boys. Stephanie Rule was aware of this, that explains her comments in the introduction. I believe the male participants on the panel were fully aware of this, which is why they answered the questions the way they did. I mentioned Dr. T Hassan Johnson, because he has been an outspoken advocate for men and boys for years.

The people running these conferences are more focused on talking than taking action. Loneliness in young boys is a normal part of growing up. Traditionally, cultures had rituals to help boys through tough times, teaching them resilience and life skills. Instead of just discussing the problem, we should bring back or create new supportive traditions. These rituals helped boys feel like they belonged and learned from older generations. In short, we need less talk and more action. By focusing on real support, we can guide young boys through loneliness and help them grow into strong adults. It comes down to parenting and the lack of active fathers in childhood. Parents nowadays, including Dads just keep their kids entertained, but they don't teach them life skills or confidence. Dads need to be more hands on, and sadly you just see them at the bars hanging out.

@@Tamar-sz8oxthat's not the point, if all things being equal; ending up a millionaire by the time you retire, why are men avoiding these careers? A major one, and I am a social/community worker, is that it's a dangerous mine field as a man. I, personally, was falsely accused by a female colleague who was upset I wouldn't pursue her romantically. Men are seeing and hearing these stories all the time. I Hope this didn't come as an attack, it's not, it's trying to give perspective.🙏🏿

Im glad they are talking about it. Even using the points that both sides of the aisle could agree on. Although I Don't like subtle jabs at groups who made solutions for themselves. That's disrespectful. Kills the messaging. But I can't help but feel like this is a human thing where they'll finally start saying what their opposition has been saying just so they can control the narrative as opposed to actually do anything about it. Like group one will say I really don't want this thing here because this. And they'll go. This group really wants this thing because that not this.

It is often said that when you don't know the purpose of a thing; abuse is inevitable! The word of God in Romans 13:1 teaches us that the idea of governmental authority is of God Romans 13:1 Says Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. However, knowing the purpose of governmental authority should make it easier for every soul to be subject to governmental authorities. Romans 13:4 teaches us the purpose for governmental authority which is to minister to you for good... Romans 13:4 Says For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Matthew 19:17 Says And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. John 1:1 Says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. As we see, the purpose for governmental authority is to minister to us for good, but only God is good and God and His word are one and the same. Therefore, all governmental authorities suppose to be ministering the word of God to us for our good. However, if this is not the case then governmental authorities are ministering evil to its peoples. Study Jesus Christ and you will know how to become a real man. 1 Corinthians 13:11 Says When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

@@alejandrocastillo9209 THis is according to research i found online: The Apostle Paul is the author of the Epistle to the Romans (see Romans 1:1). In writing this epistle, Paul used the assistance of a scribe, Tertius, who wrote his own greeting to the Roman Saints near the conclusion of the epistle (see Romans 16:22). Now show me the research that romans changed the word of GOD.
