I have made it before. Sadly Pork Belly is not very cheap anymore. I make "Buck Bacon" now using parts of a Pork Shoulder when the price is below $2.00 per pound. My wife of 46 years enjoys it, as do it. Best wishes.

Great tip, thanks. I know many don't like pork but it's suck a versatile meat and many ,many parts can be substituted and workarounds found. Thank you for the time and interest - have a great
