How To Custom Dye Vans Oldskools

The steps:
-wet the vans
-apply 50g dylon to 500ml warm water
stir
-fill bucket with apx. 6l warm water
stir
-add 250g salt, add dylon-water mixture
stir
-add vans
stir
wait 45 mins.

Thank you very much for these clear instructions, worked really well. Make sure everyone that you do submerge the whole shoe for the whole time as a tiny bit was sticking out which is lighter than the rest.

Basically would I be able to dye my light pink vans to black , without dying the vans sign on the side on the shoe?

Imran Escobar it works the best on canvas shoes, so vans era's, and most old skools/sk8 hi's. Never had experience with this on suede but as you can see the leather stripe stays white. But it should work fine with all canvas shoes!

No you can bleach them first

nope, only from a light color to a darker color. So for instance: blue > black is possible.

+Deluxe6x2 that is possible , just leave the vans for less long in the dye, id say about 15-30 mins instead of 45mins and stir for 5 mins (that is what I estimate)
