So your circumference would always be your waist measurement right ?

@@yoziggy5356 yes, IF you want the peplum to be round your waist Otherwise, the circumference will always be the measurement round the area where you intend to sew the peplum. Par exemple - if you want it at the hem of your skirt, the measurement round the hem of your skirt will be your circumference

Hi. I’m glad you love the video. Okay let’s assume you want to make a skirt for yourself and your friends; measure around your waists - this will be the radius. The formula remains the same as long as you have a radius. The length varies based on preference. I hope this is helpful 😊

It depends on how many pleats you want and how wide you want it. For 1 pleat with 3" width, that'll be extra 6" For 1 pleat with 4" width, you'll need extra 8" You can use this for the calculation Good luck!

i have a question, how do i know the total length is required if it is 360 deg flare? how do i measure that?

For any of the flares, once you calculate your radius, add your desired flare length to it. That’s what you’ll use to fold your fabric
