My dear sister you have just given me job to doeeee. I cannot stop watching this your tutorial. Nothing has been this clear to me as this tutorial. I could not get it from other tutorials. It was so confusing to me but since last time I watched it, I am having fun with circles that I am obsessed now. I want to make exactly what you have on this tutorial. How many degree peplum is one. Will six yards be enough for the top and six pieces long skirt, if not what kind of long skirt will six yards make with the top in your tutorial. My God will forever bless you. Thank you so so much
@LearntoSewAcademy5 жыл бұрын
😃😃 . Glad the video has been helping. How much fabric you need depends on the size of the individual. You can do a 720 or 1080 degree peplum and can also add horsehair braid (crinoline) to let it stand firm even more. I have a video on adding horsehair braid at kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4iufIyniMtnbZY

This is a wonderful tutorial. But ma I have a question.. What's going to happen with the two inches on each circle when making a 720 or more peplum flare?
@LearntoSewAcademy4 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm not sure I understand your question, but I'm assuming you're referring to the sewing allowances? Those should go away when you join your circles together, since you'll take them in as your sewing allowances.
@cleopatrascloset84124 жыл бұрын
So glad to have found your channel! Your teaching method is the best to understand. My question may see strange, but I am in the U.S. and need to know if the math is done in metric or imperial measurements. Thank you to eternity :) Charlene

First, keep practicing. Don't give up. I'll be doing a class in the beginner sewing classes I started two weeks ago on sewing stitches. Be on the lookout for that. Here's the last sewing class video, if you haven't seen the videos already: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqSmnadvh7OrrdE
@m.jchannel61924 жыл бұрын
Pls where do u get that 6.28 ma'am dat is my problem.thanks Soo much
@LearntoSewAcademy4 жыл бұрын
It's a mathematical standard derived from calculating the radius of a circle. C=2πr where π=3.14. 3.14 is a proven math standard. You'll have to go into deeper research if you want to know how the mathematicians came up with that :) 2π=3.14x2. That is 6.28
