my dilemma is relatively similar. I deleted a clip I did not intend to delete and saved it. Now I have no clue how I can re lengthen the recording from the same track as it was possible in Adobe Premiere, all i find is how to stretch/zoom in or speed tracks but nothing on what my need would be.

Still could not get to work for the life of me I give up. Why is it so hard to cut. I clicked the I symbol clicked and dragged the portion of the song I want to cut then nothing. Won't let me cut or anything. Says select portion of clip to edit and when I click and drag the portion I want to delete I get nothing. What gives. My pc is brand new I know it's not that. I'm on windows 10 to

Any idea how to cut 2 periods of audio at the same time ? Say... 1 minute to 2 mins... and 4 mins to 5 mins at the same time....

This only works if you've checked Preferences/Tracks Behaviors/Editing a clip can move other clips. Otherwise it won't slip when you cut.

I don't really like this program. It's not really user-friendly, like when it comes to cutting and splitting. Magix samplitude is way easier. I prefer magix, but I can't use it right now. For some reason, it will not record any sounds on my computers. Magix keeps telling me that I have no sound card.
