wow there aren't many videos about this plant thank you very much, they just gave me a plant and I didn't know how to take care of it or cut it for transplant ❤

Your Aloiampelos Ciliaris looks gorgeous with so many puppies. Good thing to make some propagation around the garden.

Thank you Melissa for sharing this. You make it look so easy and very encouraging. Now I want to check my backyard and do some cutting/propagating myself. 🙂👍🏼

Great video and good looking plants! How long will it take for the plant to callous and when can you water? Thanks!
@TheSucculentHome3 жыл бұрын
I should only take a week and then should be good. Sorry for late reply just saw your comment 🙏🏽💞

do you have to clip it from the bare part of the stem or can you clip it so that a portion of leaves are still left at the base? i know it will leave a naked hole in the middle for a while, but will more leaves or pups eventually grow out of that?
@TheSucculentHome2 жыл бұрын
Yes! Definitely! It will grow from where you cut it. Usually a little pup come from it.

Also, if you’re just going to stick it in like that, how long do you wait before you water?

does Aloiampelos ciliaris/climbing aloe clean indoor air as well as regular aloe?
@TheSucculentHome Жыл бұрын
That's a good question. I don't know but I'll find out.

THANK YOU for this video! I'm so jealous of your outdoor aloes (i live in 7a). Just a question, will anything grow from the stem after you've cut it? Do you leave it there or just uproot and discard it?
@TheSucculentHome3 жыл бұрын
Yes and I’m so sorry that I barely saw this comment now. Hope all is going well with your succulents.

How long do I have to wait to for it to callus before putting it in the dirt?
@raymondramnarain Жыл бұрын
Two to five days depending on the sun

Why can’t you plant the other part of it that you cut off? I don’t understand why that would be any different.

Mine is indoor right and its too tall but no babies.
@brycerush983 жыл бұрын
I cut my babies off and potted them up by the mother plant, next day the babies are all shriveled up. I didn’t water when I first planted but I did when I saw they were wilted, do you think they’ll bounce back or is it a lost cause?
@TheSucculentHome3 жыл бұрын
As long as you watered them after the fresh cuttings callused over. They should be fine. Keep me posted and God bless🙏🏽💞

The leaves must not touch the ground or Will rot
