I would like to make a fitted straight pant. I love your pattern explanation. I do not want so much allowance when sewing. It leaves too much bulk in the seams. When using your pattern method, you include allowance. What is the recommended allowance amount I should use while creating the pattern if I only want 0.5 seam allowance?

I advise you just add the allowance as shown You can trim to 0.5” there after

For jumpsuit yes you are adding the extra 1.5” at the back it’s specifically for the bum at the back

Just take 1” or 1.5” if the material is stretchy on both sides
