I use chalk as well. Makes a difference!

I'm curious if people have other methods they'd like to share. I've seen people put things underneath the grates, like paper or wood sheets. I've also seen people use painters tape around the edges. The chalk works but I feel like there's gotta be a better way.

Thank you. Can you do a detailed one on the 2w IR on the metal coasters sent with it. From importing an image to sending it to the machine? The current videos show installing the head and then a finished product...how? Please help us newbies😊

I've been using 100 power with my Vista and and some longtime laser users have said that you shoud never use 100 power with a 10W diode because it affects the longevity of the laser head. Do you know anything about this?

Question: Can you paint your own basswood to cut out? If so, Matte Acrylic Paint or Chalk Paint? I just got my Vista, set it up but the power cord is defective, so I’m waiting for a new cord!
