A video talking about the editing in The Marvelous Mrs Maisel would be FANTASTIC!

Ted Lasso is such a phenomenal show, I still haven’t fully recovered from the finale. Glad this episode gives me a chance to relive it a bit. Can help thinking about how this show wouldn’t really be possible before streaming. The comedy/drama emotions swings, the wildly different episode run times. But loosing those constrains opened up more authentic story telling and I am so here for it.

Guys!!! Thank you so much for having Melissa McCoy and A.J. Catoline - finally I saw some of the happiest people in the world - video editors of Ted Lasso! I just can’t imagine how much love you have experienced while working with this material, but it’s visible in the show. MVP! MVP! MVP!

Less than a minute into watching....and without knowing what I'm in for exactly....I can already say THANK YOU! You keep bringing me (us) super great editing knowledge from shows I admire and love. I love these shows, I'm learning, due in no small part to the editors making choices that resonate with me. I love how you are exposing this world to me. I love that this knowledge can start to inform my editing choices. I love that you bring this stuff to us. I love you, man(s). (haha. a bit of Walter Sobchak hugging The Dude on the dune cliffs of California - except, yay, nobody died).

Love hearing the editors talk and how they take their time with cuts

One thing I've noticed about Ted Lasso's editing in particular (and not to say that this is unique to Ted Lasso) is that when the editors cut to a reaction shot with no dialogue, it hits way harder than if a character said something really sad. I guess it all goes back to "show don't tell"? Edited: OOO I just got it. The sad dialogue line is the prepper, and the reaction shot is in response to this. They each need each other in order to work.

I'm commenting for the algorithm but I haven't finished Ted Lasso yet so I will need to watch this later. For me I love the show, both for the humor and the true moments of emotion the editors have captured to help the audience connect to the story.

Hey guys, love the videos! If possible a future video, could you talk about the Production feature within Premiere Pro? I've watched tons of other KZbinrs try to explain Productions, folder structuring, etc... but no one has broken down how using the Production feature can help beginner KZbinrs. IE - How to setup your folder structure - A breakdown of productions - Where to store the production - Where do I store new projects/start projects and use clips or media from those older projects That's the tip of the iceberg, but I genuinely think that would help so many new KZbinrs, especially myself.

Hayden saying `Football` had me pause for a moment, I almost forgot he's British. Loved the episode but would have loved more if they had talked about Season 1 more, it was on another level almost like Scrubs reborn.

I will first of all say thank you guys for putting this together but let's be real. The editors will never achieve this level of greatness without the director, art director, producer and creative director's input, this is a bit misleading and the show is not even that great. But hey, I love all of your videos and I have learned a lot from you so, thanks again :)

These writters have such bad philosophies and wrong moral and etical concepts which is why these shows fail miserable. It's like fantasy but about real life. It gives a sense of uncanny valley to people because the things in the show look real life but act extremely outside from real life and all just to serve a personal agenda from the creators.
