They get me every time with the "oh no, these characters are going to have a misuderstanding that is going to cause a whole bunch of problems and drag out half the season" but then simply turn around and have the characters talk to each other and work it out like adults. It's so nice to watch.

At first, Ted Lasso looked too "care bear cute" for me. My kind of tv is more like Oz, Breaking Bad and sorts. I actually came to Ted Lasso to watch football players swear, spit, and argue but I eventually stayed for the good vibes and morale. It got me.

I haven't listened to her in an interview for a while but I'm pretty certain she is doing what a lot of Brits do when they go to the states, they sound transatlantic. A kind of hybrid accent of both.
