Great video for anyone needing to cut copper. I use a hacksaw when I'm scraping the copper because it is faster and I don't have to worry about it working anywhere.

The one I got is a Pittsburgh brand from Harbor Freight. It also cuts 1/8” to 1-1/8” pipe. Lifetime warranty and only something like $8. Great little tool.

good video for us first timers. I tried to remove a service valve for my toilet thinking and not looking close enough at the fitting. I found that after using two slip joint pliers the pipe twisted. I stopped immediately and reattached the braided tank hose and turned the water valve back on. Still works but the valve is still leaking (just a little) and water is not flowing properly into the tank for proper refilling.

Check if the cutter wheel/blade is loose, try tighten the screw, but bit so much it does not spin

Just got one from Ace. I think its crap. Went around like 50 times and only a small groove. I thought i was doing something wrong. Had a better one years ago and i dont remember it being this hard so went to yputube to see if i was doinh something wrong. Apparently the brand makes a difference.
