although this is a nifty little invention I must disagree with the acuracy and realistic outcome of the cut one will try to achieve with it. In this clip they cut the hair dry. Hair should never ever be cut dry. (yes I am a cosmetology student so I know) I love the idea of a level that would help even help a professional. It is an alternative to cuts done by professionals but it will never replace them. All in all very creative and the right idea, just a few tweaks here and there.

I agree I use mine differently .. mine turns out great if I did it this way it would be very clunky and choppy!

Hair can be cut dry but it should be straightened first and should be only done after wet cutting to touch it up.

The top trim I use the clip the other way around following the arch of the head not the other way!

@scarlettinwonderland Some stylist prefer to cut dry hair because they claim it's more accurate for the real amount of hair you're cutting off since I'm sure we've all said "Cut off three inches" but really once the hair is dry it's more than that. Personally I've cut dry and wet hair, I prefer wet because it's easier but dry for the accuracy.

the side bangs only don't look that great bc the lady has her hair parted like that. if she washes it and blow dries it to the side, without the part, it would look great.... this invention is crazy amazing!!
