I lost a lot of hair last year due to post partum hair loss, change in medication, and covid. The new hair growth is finally long enough for me to try and blend it into my hair. Long story short, I accidently cut too much in the front, and this video helped me fix that and achieve the layered look I was going for to begin with. Thank you!

I was cutting hair for 6 months with a corporate company and I loved doing layered haircuts. I would say do perimeter first and then work on the layering process so you have an idea of the longest length you have to work with. This was a good refresh especially with the face perimeter!

Thank you so much for this video! ❤️ I am wearing this type of haircut basically all my life and I grew so sick of it! ... Every single time I get to go to a salon (not often at all), I ask for a blunt cut and to even out my hair to finally get rid of those layers... And every single time, all hairdressers used this kind of a technique on my hair which is just soooo wrong. All the time I have been blaming my own hair, thinking it was a spontaneous hair breakage in the back of my head or something like that. Now I understand! I don't know what and why the ladies I visited misunderstood about my request (maybe something about my mother language but I really doubt it)... I guess I am going to show this but mostly your another blunt-cut tutorial video to my mom or my boyfriend or whoever because that's what I am asking for since years! Thank you sooo so much, it's a life-changer for me! ❤️ Ps: Of course, you have a new subscriber. Best wishes! 😊🌸

This was so helpful! I’ve been cutting my own hair (super curly) and I went to someone I thought was reputable and they made one side of my head look like a box and seeing where you match up your lengths cleared some stuff up for me. For the past couple of weeks I would just randomly cut a curl that stood out like a couple of end but every day I cowash or refresh

Thank you so much for all the amazing content on this channel. TBH if it weren't because of you, I think i would've gave up on becoming a hairstylist 🥺♥️♥️ thanks again!
@styledbysamvay4 жыл бұрын
Aw thank you! I directed the front hair back on both sides, watch it again ;) And you can bring the side sections forward when you cut your layers if you want the sides to be layered more, it just depends on how you want the hair to fall. Before making any cuts, just hold your fingers in place and see where the hair would fall once you let it down. The great thing about practicing on a mannequin is that you can test out different cuts and you don't have to worry if it comes out weird or too short :)
