Here I explain how to cut lumber the same length so your projects come out square and stable. Using a stop block will help to keep your lumber all the same length.
Donations greatly appreciated for woodworking supplies: www.buymeacoff...

Good idea. Could you drive a couple of short screws through the stop block and fence extension? That way you could slam the boards up against the block. ;)

I’m a fvcking retard 😔. I’ve never cut two boards to the same length in my entire 50 years on earth. It’s not that I’m embarrassed by how poorly I cut, despite owning every wood tool imaginable and my grandfather being a respected finish carpenter. I do pretty much everything in life wrong so placing undue emphasis on my inability to cut boards to the same length is rather insignificant in the macro scheme of things. Ok, there are a few insignificant activities that I can perform to differing degrees of mediocrity (I’m an ok DJ). But none of the activities i almost excel at performing require an IQ above 80. And mastering any one of them will never be akin to bringing home a Nobel Prize to add pride to our family name. The funny thing about the “board cutting thing” is that I oddly scored quite well on standardized tests. In fact I attended both Ivy League undergraduate and graduate schools (law school). But I can attest to the absolute FACT that “Ivy” does not correlate to superior cognition or aptitude. For example, my fiancé is a world renowned custom analog synthesizer manufacturer and artist. Paul’s work is in such high demand that he turns away more work than he takes on. And he custom builds and designs the synthesizers for Hans Zimmer, Martin Gore, Trent Reznor, Nero Bellum, etc . . . So the reason I brought up my fiancé is two part. My primary reason was simply to brag. Snagging him was the most successful accomplishment in my otherwise Groundhog Day life. And the SECOND REASON was to exemplify my former negation of there being any correlations between academic achievement and the delivery of concrete exemplary work product. My fiancé is a math genius and an absolutely fluent master of all things “electrically engineered.” BUT PAUL CAN’T READ AT ALL! When he was 14 yo he literally woke up one morning and had forgotten how to talk and perform basic tasks (such as using a fork). Of course doctors performed the gamut of tests and imaging of Paul’s brain. But no one could identify any physical or concrete explanation for his loss of language and motor skills. But within three years he was not only able to relearn basic motor functions he was discovered to have what must have been an overlooked latent grasp of mathematics that far exceeds many PHDs. Oh, I wrote all of that and still can’t cut a damn board.
