Unfortunately there’s not many pine trees where I live. I don’t think they sell them in the shops either. So I have a few given to me that I want to cut as they are very big. It looks difficult to cut.

How did you get rid of all the sap ?

I don't usually get a lot of sap from the actual pinecones. Now this could be due to the type of pine tree they come from. If you have sappy pine cones you can always place them on a covered baking sheet and bake them on low heat (200 degrees) for about 20 minutes and that should dry them out, kill bugs and remove the sap. I have a small thrift store oven that I use for clay crafts and things like this. Thank you for your comment! 😊 ~Hey Maaa
