Hi Maker,
in this short but interesting video I will reveal how to cut Polycarbonate, Acrylic & Plexiglass with a polished finish, following a simple, complete and scientific procedure.
The procedure is also applicable to Plexiglas and other equivalent plastics.
We'll be using the new PLEXITOP special bit, which, thanks to its lapped and balanced cutting edge with half a helix more than conventional plastic bits (so Z=1+1/2), gives you an extremely precise and clean cut, with a glossy finish - the words of a miller!
We also use PLASTER with the PLEXITOP, our exclusive, revolutionary liquid that prevents plastics from melting and increases smoothness during milling thanks to its SPECIAL COCONUT-FREE MIXTURE.
PLASTER is also excellent for the final hand polishing of your plastic material.
Find here PLASTER 1.0 👉 [ bit.ly/3vytOHT ]
Good vision
NB: The parameters of advancement on Plexiglass are double that of polycarbonate, which you will naturally find in your user account after purchase and always remember that if the result is not optimal you can write to us and, supported by a specialized Fraiser Tutor, we will find the solution.
WARNING:
As also written in the video the material is made to vibrate specifically to make the noise understood and heard and to recognize this symptom.
However, the finishing pass eats so little that it manages to polish it just the same.
The Plaster is very useful and together you can bring your milling to an optimal level, especially on all plastics and with cutters perhaps not as super performing as ours.
We know the material is polycarbonate, and that's why it says above that it applies to both plexiglass, polycarbonate and acrylic.

Sorry to say, but what you showed here is complete bullshit. First of all the cooling fluid will have zero effect if it's not introduced onto the cutter when milling. Second, you never place thin sheet material like that on vacuum pods but always on the flat matrix table that you have here, with a sheet of sacrificial MDF between it. You can never ever remove vibrations from a thin piece of material that is floating onto pods.

We don't feel sorry for this comment because if a rude person like you, who is a random and speaks without the evidence and basis hiding behind a nickname, doesn't understand that; 1) The workpiece was taken specifically between the clamps to point out the vibrations and not have them repeated (or make people see where they are going wrong) 2) The polishing pass doesn't vibrate and works the same even if you don't have optimal holding systems for these materials ( an extra point to the plexitop) 3) Plaster 1.0 works the same even if it is not sprayed directly into the work, otherwise it would not be so appreciated by the thousands of millers who work with us every day 4) Your comment can only be made after you have purchased our kit and tried our Plexitop + Plaster 1.0 kit, otherwise it is just words in the air. Thank you www.fraisertools.com/en/carbider-poly PS: Now the bits are on sale if you want Bye

@@FraiserTV I mill thousands of pounds of material like this for a living and have never had the need to buy some rip off coolant like that tho. I think i’m capable enough to see what is bullshit and what not. By the way, you are milling polycarbonate here, not acrylic.

@@JonasDM46 And we think you that we have been selling and assisting on bits milling for 50 years, second generation. That still makes me think you are a random whipped person because if you want to be a professor you have to read the description and watch the whole video. You stopped at the cover. And if you go into the product there are also REAL reviews Coolant lubricant is not essential but recommended and together they give you the POLISH finish with a carbide cutter, not diamond. If you do not have the requirement or have never milled mirror finish you cannot know, and those who do not know should not comment on things above them. So in these cases you ask nicely; but how come if the piece vibrates then you have an optimal finish equally? And then; can I not use plaster? That's it, people who are civilized and who turn to people who know more than they do should behave like that. Not everyone can afford super-professional machines, and this system is tested and designed just for those people there. And after this we have no more time to waste. Greetings
