At the waist line you follow the dart line then at the burst line you can move away from the bustier by 1 and half inches

I used 1 and half but you can use two or two and half or even three, it depends on the volume of pleat you want

Sweetheart it depends on the volume of your pleats,for bolder or bigger pleats you should used 3times your waist measurement but if it's pleats of one and half or two inches, double your waist measurement and half. Thanks so much
