Hello na what if you want 8 pieces how much you divided by for example for 6 pieces you said we divide by 12 what if is 8 pieces dress or skirts.

You'll divide by 16. You are cutting on the fold for each of the 8 pieces. So each piece is divided by 2 (when folded)
