Hi really nice content, thank you! I didn't know you could feed the banana trunk to chickens. I 'am looking for a way to feed my animals, pigs and chicken with alternative and locally available feed so I saw you video. Here in Brazil seems that some people are feeding cassava (arrowroot), it's milled and dried before feeding... both leaves and roots.

Ha! Fat corn got me laughing so hard, I had like 2 big ones and the rest......I can't find words. That type of banana is locally called matooke. You cook it or roast but you can't eat it ripe. Thank you Soo much for watching and leaving a comment. This season my garden is going to improve because I have learnt a lot from you.

Hello Sarah. Thank you so much for your videos. To answer your question: you can maybe preserve your Matoke by dehydrated them. Ok Let me explaine to you. First, cut them into slices and then dry them in the sun. They should become crunchy. Then you can grind them into powder to cook them into flour for different dishes. I have already tried it but with plantain banana. Thank you again to inspire me with your garden.

Yes u can keep it in the fridge but u put it on a low degrees where is not too cold coz if too cold it gets black but if the fridge it's on its lowest matoke can spend a month in it
