I was getting that furry puff look with a different brand of HTV. I have the same heat press as yours and instead of pressing using the soft heat pad I put my shirt on a hard chopping board and it came out puffy but without the furry texture. I did have to play around with the heat settings and press time though.

I have an HTVront easy press with the lbs pressure reading. Could you recommend about how many lbs of pressure I would use with it to get the best end result? Thank you for taking the time to make this video!

You’ll need to use a press that you can adjust your pressure to avoid the texture. I like the look of the texture but mine is consistent. I had the same issue two years ago when I used Siser Puff. Siser discontinued their Puff vinyl and recently re-released it. I tried a different brand and the texture is wavy instead of smooth. It’s very frustrating so I recommend Siser Puff.

Yah! I like the look of the texture too! When I used super firm pressure on my siser press- I was underwhelmed!

I used everyday iron on, on my cricut Explorer. It worked pretty good for me. Easy to weed. Thank you for the tips on the heat.

I certainly had no issue on a cotton t-shirt but then total failure on a Hobby Lobby $2.99 baseball cap. Thought maybe the cap was made from cotton however it did not sublimate. Tried 260° - 280° and various dwell times 10 - 25 seconds. Using a Hotronix IQ360 hat press.

Cut settings were no problem but I am almost through an entire roll of black trying to get a consistent press/texture! Using a vevor heat press with variants of temp and with and without press pillow

Omg I thought I was doing it wrong I’ve thrown away material thinking the texture as I call little bubbles keep coming up n doesn’t puff that much by sister but weeds easy for me

You can! Your settings will be different. I would recommend test cutting with the "Glitter Mesh Iron-On" setting.

we have the explorer air 2 so dont have that non cricut heat transfer option. But worked out i can add it and edit it. Fingers crossed

I have an older red clam press- Siser Digital Clam Heat Press 15 x 15 Inch. It presses fine-- but it didn't puff as much.

How to show you didn’t read before using. 1) It says only press 1 time. 2) it says it will pick up texture and how much is determined by material used on. If you’re going to do videos on products read the packaging before using!

I worked directly with 143Vinyl on the production of this video and followed Siser’s instructions exactly as they were written at the time I posted this video. I just confirmed that they are still almost exactly the same. They added one addition- a cover sheet. www.siserna.com/easy-puff/ I even sent photos to siser to confirm the application was correct and that texture was okay. Please consult the manufacturer’s website before posting a rude comment on a creator’s platform criticizing them.
