Ive been a dapple main for years now, and another tip he didnt mention was to never pick a fight with people on ledges, since using the puny range to hit over a ledge will never work. Get just outside of the opponents range until they jump on level ground with you. From there, its unbelievably easy to rush them as theyre falling to the ground

Another tip for Dapples: I see a lot of Dapple Dualies acting like some berserker renegade, trying to rush through the enemy team and get a solo wipe. You are NOT some insane destroyer of worlds, you are an annoying mosquito. You won't run through the team by rushing them and killing everyone along the way, but you might be able to get a few kills, then by the time you inevitably die, you have a Beakon, maybe even a Cooler to let you get back into the action and repeat.

annoying mosquito is a PERFECT analogy. Round start, paint as much as u can and spam torp till there’s an opening, group up till u find a decent flank and get a pic or two when u can. Dapples are an incredible main weapon but rely on your opponents mistakes to get a clean roll into a insta death. TORP IS LOVE, TORP IS LIFE

I'm absolutely not an expert by any means, but one thing I would add as a five-star vanilla dapples player is to use your beakons! For each map, find safe places, as closest to mid as possible, to set them up. Quick respawn is great but I also love to use a lot of quick super jump with this weapon as well, to get me back into the game as soon as possible. Get into the habit of replacing your beakon each time you use it. If you can, popping your tacticooler before you're about to push is great to let you (and your teammates) jump right back in super fast, and with good beakon placement, there's a dependable way to do this each time! (PS: It's crazy how often the opposing team will just walk right by your beakons without noticing them, even if they do manage to find one.)

This is what i play with every single day. I dont know better connection. So this is normal for me. (I would give many things to play Splatoon 3 with no lag, due to the fact that i am a Dapple Dualies main and have to rely on the connection to let my hits connect right when i shoot so that i can reduce the risk i am taking when flanking enemies. I probably could be way better when i could play with no lag at all)

The normal dualies are the worst. There are better dualies than dapples too but that doesnt mean u cant main them 😁

Dapples need a buff, sorry not sorry. And if you’re gonna make a video about one weapon, you have to cover the whole kit, why didn’t you do that? I feel like Dark Tetras and even Splat Jr are better choices to fill the same role that you would with Dapples

Dapples don’t need any kind of buff. It’s made well. Also, be grateful he’s talking about the weapon in general. if ur not happy about how he’s talking about the weapon then go watch somebody else 😭 complaining to him isn’t going to get ur point across. Also, people can have preferences. There’s no “best” or “worst” weapon.
